Meet the Founder Behind Modern Maven
Financial clarity, strategic guidance, and intentional growth for founder-led businesses ready for their next chapter.
Hi, I'm Meagan.
Thank you for being here. I know what it feels like to carry a vision, navigate difficult decisions, and build something meaningful while trying to keep everything moving forward. Modern Maven was created for founders who need more than financial reports—they need clarity, confidence, and a trusted partner who can help translate the numbers into a path forward. Whether you're building something new, scaling what already exists, or navigating a season of transition, my goal is to help you create the structure, strategy, and insight needed to support both your business and the life you're working so hard to build.
A Different Kind of Financial Partner
Numbers tell a story. Most founders simply need someone who can help them understand what that story is saying.
Modern Maven was built on the belief that financial leadership should be accessible, practical, and aligned with the realities of building a business. My role is not simply to prepare reports or review financial statements. It is to translate the numbers into meaningful insights that help founders make confident decisions, identify opportunities, navigate challenges, and move forward with greater clarity.
Over the years, I've worked alongside founders in every stage of growth—from creative entrepreneurs turning a passion project into a viable business, to established companies generating seven figures and preparing for their next season of expansion. Because I understand both the financial and operational side of business, I help bridge the gap between vision and execution, creating the structure, strategy, and accountability needed to support sustainable growth.
Whether you're building something new, scaling what already exists, navigating a transition, or simply trying to understand what comes next, Modern Maven provides more than financial oversight. I become a strategic partner who can see the bigger picture, translate complexity into clarity, and help you build a business that supports both your vision and your life.
Why I Built Modern Maven
After years in corporate finance and leadership, I found myself increasingly drawn to the founders building businesses around their expertise, creativity, and vision. Through women's business groups, coaching communities, consulting relationships, and my own entrepreneurial journey, I was surrounded by talented entrepreneurs creating meaningful businesses—but often carrying the weight of growth, financial decisions, and operational complexity alone.
What I discovered was that most founders didn't need more reports or spreadsheets. They needed someone who could help them understand what the numbers were saying, connect strategy to execution, and provide clarity during seasons of growth, transition, and uncertainty. I found myself naturally stepping into that role, helping founders bridge the gap between vision and the financial structure needed to support it.
Modern Maven was born from that intersection of experience. It combines years of financial leadership and operational strategy with a genuine understanding that every business is ultimately built by a person carrying a vision. My mission is to help founders create the clarity, structure, and confidence needed to build businesses that support not only growth, but the life they're working so hard to create.
Where Strategy Meets Stewardship
Clarity
We uncover what is materially true in the business so you can lead with confidence.
Structure
We create financial and operational rhythms that bring order, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Alignment
We help founders make decisions that honor both the vision they have and the numbers that support it.
For the Founder in Transition
Every founder eventually reaches a season where what brought them here won't be enough to take them where they're going next.
Sometimes that transition looks like growth. Sometimes it looks like simplification, reinvention, or letting go of what no longer serves the business. It may be hiring your first team member, stepping into a leadership role, preparing for a sale, rebuilding after a challenge, or simply redefining success on your own terms.
I've learned that meaningful transformation rarely begins with having all the answers. It begins with having the clarity and confidence to take the next step. My role is to help founders navigate those pivotal moments with intention—creating the financial visibility, strategic direction, and operational structure needed to support what comes next.
Because every business has seasons. And every founder deserves support through theirs.
